Grounded Stateside....For Now

I have some sad news to report. Due to some problems at NOVA, my departure for Japan has been pushed back until January or February 2008. Basically the Japanese government changed the laws on how companies like NOVA can do business which caused a liquidity problem. So they are not comfortable bringing over any new instructors until after that has been resolved which they think will be after the holidays. So I am going to be in Michigan until then it looks like. Everyone can still contact me through my cell, email, AIM, MySpace and Facebook. I am still planning on going, just going to have to get a job and make some money around here for now.

Japan Leaving Update

I now have official dates. My last day of work at Quicken will be September 21. I leave Michigan to go see my dad in San Diego on October 3. And I will depart California for Japan on October 16. I will be having a going away party on Saturday, September 22nd, call me if you want to come and need directions. I love you all and cannot wait to start posting from Japan.

Soon off to the Far East

It is official. I have gotten a job with NOVA of Japan. I will be going to Japan in mid-September (tentative time) to teach English there for a year. I am really excited about it. Lots of sushi for me! The little pink bunny is their mascot. I promise once I am in Japan I will have lots of interesting posts for you all. Keep checking to see what I am up to!
